Virgin Media cashing in on COVID by ripping off existing customers renewing?

OK I called Virgin Media today to renew my sub. Apparently my discounts have expired and cannnot be renewed. How convenient from them at a time when most of us need broadband more than ever. They know very well that its difficult to switch to a competitor in the currrent situation especially if an engineer visit is required. Shocking behaviour by Virgin, cashing in on COVID-19!!

Anyone else experience this?
