Virgin - offered this deal? (Any good?) Rep for advice

Am an existing customer, was thinking of getting Sky. Virgin said Sky more expensive (lot more expensive). They told me I have a good deal, and I can add and an extra box too:

£38.50 for L BB, XL Tv (V+), additional set top box and phone line with all calls included.

Any good? I was hoping they would knock the price down but they wouldnt. Also, if I have an additional (not v+ just normal box) will I still get Xl tv on that and on demand etc?

Thanks

i was offered xl bb xl tv xl phone for £40.50 a month, was told its their standard deal, i already have a v+ and 2nd box so i dont have to pay for the v+ box, if you get the 2nd box it will have all the channels your main box has so with xl tv you will have all the on demand and channels etc

try orange, they have some great deals on at the mo, particularly if you have broadband, phone and mobile all together

Thank you for that. So I think its a good deal then, for £33.50 (without extra box) I get XL Tv, XL phone (free) and then L BB.

xl phone is basically all calls beginiing 01 are free, mobile calls and nation rate numbers you have to pay for so keep that in mind, if you dont need xl phone you could get evening and weekend package and knock some more money off

I already get the weekend calls. They giving me the Xl phone for free, I asked if they would get rid of that but they said its a free deal to customers who are moving house

over all then its a good deal, make sure to get them to heavily note your account with the services offered and the price and also ask for a comfirmation letter so you have proof of what they have offered you and your set.

i have xl bb xl phone and xl tv and they charge me £68.50
