Virgin phone - no network upstairs in house

Theres a colleague here at work with a Virgin mobile. Shes never had a problem with it, but last week, she can no longer use it upstairs in her house. There is no signal at all.

I told her to call Virgin - which she is later, but was just wondering if anyone experienced something similar? If possibly, there could be something interfering?
Im not sure why signal would drop all of a sudden ?

never had a virgin contract but i did have the same problem with orange while i was at university i dont think it was interference though..orange have a rep for having bad signal

Could be a mast down or on low power for maintenance.

Anything new been built near her ? They put a new block of flats up near my mate (between him and the closest mast) and his signal all but vanished.

Most networks have software tool that the CS agents can access that give a real time readout of all their masts on a map display. They just enter a post code and it shows all the masts in the area and their status. Just call CS and ask for an update...
