Virgin TV Folk - V Box question

Hey there,

I have just noticed my V Box at home has a USB port, as well as an e - sata slot on the back. Just wondering does this mean I can perhaps take shows (such as the Pacific) which I recorded on my V Box and then watch them somewhere else by using a portable hard drive/add them to my iPhone etc...just an example, I imagine an iPhone wouldn't really do Pacific justice....

I know the sky box has that and the installer was trying to explain to me what I could do - re recording - then could copy it onto pc and then onto a disc - but all too technical for me am afraid!

Don't think the usb drive on a V+ box can be used for anything useful.

Edit: Seems it can charge things that use the usb connection like mobiles etc.

Had never thought of charging, that could be sort of useful...but can't work out the e-sata port. Wish there was a V player or something for the xbox like Sky folk get
