    Vista sound problems

Well for some reason I was missing around and I tried connecting my vista laptop to my tv via the lead I got with my nokia N96!! Werid I know!

Now my sound has gone muffled and it seems be be coming from one side only (left)

However when I plug external speakers in, it is the same, so I dont think I have blown the laptops internal speakers, I just think I need to balance the sound between the left and right again.

They are realtek HD audio, but i do not know how to change it back??

    Any help?

Should be an icon in your control panel called Realtek HD Audio or similar.

On the first page at the top right is the balance option.

From the control panel go to the system icon, then head to … From the control panel go to the system icon, then head to hardware/device manager. Find Realtek audio in the list, right-click it, uninstall then reboot your computer. With any luck Windows will ask you to re-install the device, make sure your online and tell it to look for the drivers online and it should re-install the sound and the software.

I done that and restarted then I got this...
