You should try the VMware website, that'll be your best bet.

What exactly are you trying to do? Hooking your laptop upto a work Vmware server?

    This any good?

yeah checked the VMware site but not sure if it works or not. and yes i do need to connect to a server but its weird on linux. did it on vista and xp in two secs but cant do it on linux. wanted to know if anyone else had done it

    i use VMWARE, really good.

So you just need to confirm your trying to administrate a virtual machine running on a physical server (I'm making the assumption that its running with VMware ESX Server or VMware Server for Windows/Linux).

If you can confirm that hopefully we can point you in the right direction mate i.e. where you can find the VI Client (Virtual Infrastructure) if connecting to a physical server running with VMware ESX Server.

    Cheers, Scotty Boy!

You need to get VMware view client from your employer or whoever is running the VMware server.

You could get a free trial and get a key from somewhere.......
