I have free time on my hands on the weekends, and I am looking to volunteer at a charity shop ( I'm 13 by the way )

Do they accept 13 year old volunteers at charity shops?

Regards.

Perhaps ring a charity shop and ask?

I'm not sure that they can due to health and safety. You can volunter to help at scout/beaver groups etc from age 14.

You can wash my car.

i think it will be some will some wont as insurance will be a problem as you're underage. The only way you will find out is to get out there. Calling them wont do...my daughter worked at 14 but if she had called the shop they would have told her 16. She got out and showed she was mature and that got her the job.
Good luck with it, be lucky x

It was better than nothing and a bit of independence

You know our late shop spar takes young kids on? he has young ones himself i think. Theyre all good kids too. Just get a cv together even if you havent much on it and get it printed and passed round. The thing is once you have a job you will be offered more.
