Waitrose pricing policy, PYP/multibuy/one day half price?

Email from Waitrose today says there is a one day half price offer on boxed chocolates on friday (1st Dec).
Lindt Lindor extra dark chocolate truffles 200g are included, they are also on multibuy and can be selected as a ‘pick your own’.
So, I’m wondering how the checkout is going to be programmed to deal with this?
Normally buying two would appear on receipt:
2x £5 = £10
less multibuy -£2
less PYO -£2
to pay £6

Question is what will happen on Friday?

2x £5 = £10
less multibuy -£2
less half price -£5
less PYO -£2
to pay £2

or maybe

2x £5 = £10
less half price -£5
less PYO -£2
to pay £3

Either way a bargain, shame I don’t like dark chocolate!

If you order for home delivery for Friday then the multibuy offer should still apply because their website states it ends 28/12, does not state excludes 1/12
