It is the ONLY thing my 19 yr old drink, she was brought up on it, we lived in US for awhile and Australia, so 100 bottles will last her untilOctober/November
You would think I need a new keyboard more than I need 100 bottles of ice Tea but believe me the keyboard is secondary when you have a 19 yr old with withdrawl from Ice Tea
Sorry about mistake £1.50 for 2

its slightly better than most teenager 'preferred' drink' - Coke and a lot better than alcohol
and if I am a 'failed' parent by supplying my daughter with her 'preferred' drink - then so be it there are a lot of us out there

she used to drink Fennell - but cannot get that now either only in Australia

That's not a bad price really, especially if they're getting it in just for you.

cheaper thank Coke !
works out at 75p per 1.5lt bottle
and getting the 100 will save me a lot of money
it is usuall (the Lemon one) 97p per bottle so I am saving quite a bit over £22.00

I prefer the Lipton Lemon Ice Tea Sparkling, but I can't find anywhere that sells them

Well 2 for £1.50 sounds like a good price for the big ones, my OH likes the Mango one, can only get that in certain shops here and its usually £1 for the small bottles.

Again October Girl, have said it before on here, the best parents in the world are those without children.

Leave them to judge others all they like.

Well done on finding the product and good on waitrose for buying it in for you!

1.50.. phew! Wondered wth? lol
Everyone else, her daughters 19! not 9, I have a few unhealthy obsessions! Nothing that would lead me to buy 100 bottles of ice tea tho lol Where are you planning to store them all?
My OH is addicted to fizzy drinks, tbh they aren't for me, give me far too much wind =O

LOL!!

oh dea! lol

Gotta say - I used to work for Waitrose Customer Services - we did have a very progressive view of how to serve customers, and ordering in for just one customer was commonplace.

We also replied to a customer complaint that we once found on an online discussion board - which was a bit of an oddity for a retailer too!!!

Thank you -X

We did also get a lot of p155-takers and chancers - we used to hand out so much cash in goodwill vouchers for the craziest reasons - but then Waitrose know that their customer will spend as much dozens of times over.

My favourite letter was an old fella who wrote "I came in to buy some smoked mackerel. I found what I did not want, which was monkfish." We had no idea why he'd writen that letter, or what he was trying to convey, but we sent him a £3 goodwill voucher for his trouble anyway!!!

quite happy with my lovely 19 yr old and gertting her her 'preference in drink
this post was just to say how very very helpful Waitrose was to some of you it turned into a campaigng agains mothers who 'care':whistling:
then the nice, helpful people on here have actually read the threat stating what a good company Waitrose was and the trouble I was having getting the tea, does not mattter why or who for surely!

Jeesh she was just stocking up on something her daughter likes, then come in all the critics...anyone would think she bought her 100 1 litre bottles of Vodka!

Yeh Waitrose pretty good,I shop there from time to time as they sell a lot I can't get in likes of Tesco.

enjoy the tea x x

+1

People find it easy to criticise oher people on the internet. maybe it helps them divert their mind of thought from their own lives, issues and insecurities that they may have.
So what if a mum bought her daughter 100 cans of a drink her daughter likes. Any parent will tell you that they would do anything to make their kids happy
