    Walking Shoes

Im going to be buying some walking shoes soon. Do I need to order a size up to compensate for swelling of the feet and thick socks? i've never had walking boots before!

    Thank you

I think you need to go into the shop to try them on, with the socks you intend to wear them with.

In my experience a larger size shouldn't be needed, but as with fashion shoes they will be slightly different fittings according to the manufacturer.

i am a size 9 in shoe and trainer, but just got myself some Berghaus boots and i had a size 10 and they are still slightly tight with the correct socks on.

Don't buy online, try them on, comfort and fit is everything in a pair of walking boots, mine are my normal size though.
