When you buy certain ram, they give you a disc £16 over £100, £8 over £75 and £4 over £50.

Have always got mine from ebuyer before, seems to be fairly cheap.

    Decent stuff too!

Ebuyer are definitely very comkpetitive with their prices, but Crucial memory is actually cheaper to buy from Crucial itself.

I've searched for a code, but there doesn't sem to be any at the moment.

I've got a Dell do need to be sure the memory will work before I buy it- Crucial does (and is cheaper than Kingston). If anyone knows of Corsair that works in a dell (gx270) please let me know :-)

    HI

Have you tried the search by manufacturer facility on the Crucial website?

I found your system on there, but is it a desktop or small form factor (mini PC)?

The desktop memory CAN BE FOUND IF YOU CLICK HERE

The above are for a Dell GX270 series.

    Hope that helps

    Hello,

thanks for that. I know how to find the memory that I want, I was asking if anyone had a discount code.

    Thanks.

Any RAM will work just make sure that it is the right specs. For example for the desktop you need 184-pin DDR2700. Any brand will work really. The question is some brands are better quality than others so you're less likely to have problems with faulty ram and such.

As for a discount code I haven't seen one for a while. I heard before that new buyers got a 5% discount but I signed up for everything and still didn't get one so I'm not sure about that.

Are you 100% sure about that:

    Any RAM will work

    ?

I've got another Dell and I put generic RAM into it and it didn't boot. Dell's are bloody fussy about RAM. Assuming any RAM will work with my Optiplex, who's got the best deal for a pair of 512 DDR400?

    Cheers!

I think MicroDirect is the cheapest even for a major brand
