wanted: Decent AA & AAA rechargeable batteries

looking for energiser, duracell or other high capacity (2000mah plus) deals. Can anyone help? Kids toys are costing a fortune so want to order some more asap.

How much do they use them, if you use ordinary NiMH batteries then they don't hold their charge too well, so you'll probably find that if the kids don't use a toy for a month then the batteries will be discharged when they next try it. The answer is to look for some of the newer Hybrid NiMH batteries, these will probably last much longer in toys than ordinary NiMH batteries as they self-discharge much slower. Sanyo Eneloop and Uniross Hybrio are the most well known makes, although I think Panasonic and probably a few others make them aswell. They tend to have a lower capacity than the highest non-hybrio batteries, but don't let that put you off - they really are much better. You will pay a bit more for them mind!
