A netbook would be cool but i dont think it'll be fast enough to run all my programs etc.
as i would need word and excel a fair bit. Aswel as watching stuff online e.g 4OD bbc iplayer etc.

thanks for the input tho

A netbook is perfectly fine for the things u intend it to do. Furthermore its light, easy to carry and cheap. Get one wih a 6 cell battery though if u want juice to last long. I can recommend you this-ebuyer.com/pro…306. Its got a good review - trustedreviews.com/lap…/p1. And it can even play back 720p videos smoothly. So its a powerfull little kit with superb battery life 8 hours+. I think you should consider it before buying a proper lappy.

LOL

MS office is not going to use any resources if any!

only thing that requires hard resources is gaming.

If you can live without a dvd drive then a netbook is what u need, alternatively look for a samsung as opposed to sony vaio!

www.saveonsamsung.com is dirt cheap!

i have a HP Pavillion dv6330ea. Intel Core Duo 1.86GHz, 2.50GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 128MB Graphics card, 120GB HDD, Windows Vista Home edition...

The battery is totally gone, you'd need a new battery or run it off power supply.

£250 ono
