hi, im looking for a macbook pro 15.4" model.
the cheapest i can find it at is £1163 at the hiher education store with 14% off.

but i neeed one under £950, is therre anywhere i can get one cheaper? new or used?

If you dont mind the older (i.e. not unibody ones) my local Currys has them for £899 (c2d 2ghz, 2gb, 200gb hdd) or £999 (c2d 2.4ghz, 2gb, 250gb hdd) so you could look for them there. Both are leopard and ilife 08 versions (mb133 and mb134 iirc) Tbh, I dont know if that's a particularly good price for these models now, but its significantly cheaper than the newer models.
