Wanted - Miele Washer/Dryer.

Got an old washing machine on the way out so shopping around for a new one, and it seems Mieles can't be beaten on quality & life expectancy. Best I'v found so far is the WT2670 at Dixons for £818.04 for the 1600rpm washer dryer A+ energy efficiency, and time left indicator etc. Post egg cashback, quidco, and the kelkoo code I can get down to £737 (inc £35 for taking out egg card) inc 5 year warranty.
Can anyone top that?

Buy it from johnlewis, they will price match any store price. Also they had an offer of an extra 5 year warranty giving a total of 10 years. But with Miele you wont need it !!! Johnlewis maybe not the cheapest but are the best.

They don't pricematch codes/ quidco. For the same model as dixons £737 John Lewis want £999 with only their 2 year guaruntee (5 for £175, 0 after cashback). Massive differance, and no cashback claims. Thanks for the help though.

Now looking at getting a stainless steel miele dishwasher as well, and possibly a miele s5980 vacuum also.

Anyone have any opinion on whether it's better to get a washer dryer or a higher rpm washing only with better warranty for same price?

You could try comet clearance? Every so often they come up and prices seem to be better on expensive kit than they do the bottom end stuff. Dunno how accurate the descriptions of damage are though?

I would always recommend having seperate units for washing and drying(if you have the space).

Bear in mind also that washer/dryers can only tumble dry half a wash load,so a full washload of towels will take two loads to dry and drying bedding can be difficult.

Depends how much you want a tumble dryer and what space you have.If there is no way you can accommodate a dryer but need one then a washer/dryer can be an ok solution.
