Wanted - reasonable 19" TFT monitor (not widescreen)

After our 19" CRT monitor literally blew up the other week, it's time to move into the 21st century and get a TFT monitor!

Not bothered about widescreen, a traditional 19" will do. Reasonable quality and good reliability required.

    Thanks in anticipation...

Could you provide a link? Selecting 20-22" and non-widescreen on dabs doesn't show anything under £190 for me.

How much are you looking to spend and is 19" the most you have space for? The bigger monitors have come down in price these days, the widescreen 20-22" monitors (same resolution for both) can be had for £100-150 and a 24" can be had for £200-250. (the 24" monitors are exclusively widescreen but they're the same hight as the 20-22" non-widescreens with extra horizontal area).

Also, what resolution was your CRT running? LCDs have a single optimal resolution unlike CRTs so it's best to get one that suits you rather than having to live with one or run at a non-native resolution.

That's widescreen too, I think all the 22" ones are.
