Wanted: reliable ADSL router (talktalk compatible)

I need a new one, mine keeps disconnecting and not showing up on my pc. I've got the original talk talk one.

Can anyone recommend me a good one doesn't have to be too powerful just ultra reliable.

    thanks for your help.

Wired or wireless? With or without modem?

Netgear tend to get quite good reviews but I've never yet come across a 100% reliable wireless modem.

rightly said, there is nothing like a reliable wireless modem. Believe me I have tried nearly every modem available on this earth (nearly) and they all seem to have drop conenctions. Frankly speaking its not the modems which is the problem its the technology. We have so many interruptions within in our house with the radio frequency that the connection will keep dropping.
I suggestion would be to keep ur current modem, but invest in HomePlugs. Believe me all ur problems will be sorted!

    Hope that helps.

Have a look at these people adsl24.co.uk/store/

I use them all the time, and recommend them 100%. They are a small company I've found to be honest, helpful and reliable. Phone them up, and you get to chat to a real human being about what you need.

Another vote for Netgear - DG834 - works well with TalkTalk - stable and I have never had a disconnection in the 3 months I have been with them !!!!
