Warranty repair?

Hi all, my Hoover washing machine has an intermittent fault which needs sorting, it is still under warranty, so who do I call- Dixons who I bought it from or Hoover directly?

Hoover-it should be on a big warranty card? Dixons will only ask you to call them

depends on how long you have had the product for and what Dixons policy is on purchases of that type of item. The manufacturers warranty is standard so chances are that they will do the repair but if the item has only been purchased recently then Dixons may cover it.

Call them and ask for more details.

i think if its within so many days they will replace-but Hoover will send man out-for me it was usually next day or two-i have lots of experience as had my drier replaced 7 times and washer fixed twice...still carp.

your contract is always with the vendor (dixons) no matter what they tell you it is them who need to contact the engineer and not you. the only time you should need to contact a manufaturer yourself is if it is out of warranty.

If within 28days of purchase ask for refund or replace. If repaired and you still have problems you will only be entitled to future repairs.

under a 12 month its dixons problem dont let them say its hoovers
