Found 30th May 2007
Hi all, my washing machine popped Monday and it's not worth having the £100 an hour repair man come and tell me that. :-(

So, I'm looking for a new machine that must have:

1. +6kg load
2. >1200 spin
3. Handwash programme
4. Want to spend no more than £250 with discounts and quidco :whistling:
5. Would love to collect from store as I'm running out of pants! :giggle:

Anything else is a bonus.

Cheers all.

Hi sicknote - was looking for other peoples recommendations on here, and the Bosch machines seem to be the most popular in terms of reliability & quality. So i came across this ]http//ww…spx @ johnlewis for £279, but theres voucher code ELL851KJH10 to get £20 0ff plus quidco to get price down further. Also free delivery at the moment and a two year warranty - seems like a good deal to me?

How about this servis model

Comes with 5 year parts guarantee and free delivery.

If you can afford a little extra this washing machine is highly recommended, 7kg loader, 1600 spin and top efficiency ratings:…60P

also comet have it for collect at store option:…60P
(3.5% Quidco)

BOSCH...has a 2 year guarantee and it far better build quality than other mid price machines..ask any repair technician.

I bought a Bosch off Comet auction site - its great, much better than the Beko that I had to send back! It was also a bargain, but it took me a couple of weeks of waiting until my (low) top bid was a winning bid. But if you use the search facility you can check how much previous machines have sold for.

The machines are all 12 months warranty.
