Waterproof cycling jacket and trousers

Any info on getting a good waterproof jacket for cycling that is bright would be much appreciated. Just starting this cycle to work scheme and need to get kitted out for the winter so waterproof trousers probably needed as well. Thanks

Hi thanks, they look ok but was after something a bit more light weight. They look heavy duty and too builderish. I may check them out but really wanted something a bit more geared towards cyclists. Rep given for your efforts - thanks.

Both of these have sales on at the moment. You should find something suitable on one of these sites. Alternatively have a look at the supermarkets, I bought a very good lightweight waterproof jacket from Aldi for less than a tenner.

Hey was looking at wiggle when you posted this and checked back. Was looking at the altura night vision jacket. They have the black one on offer for 29.99 which are 49.99 everywhere else. Not sure if these will be too warm for now or if they will be seen in the daytime. The yellow version is 49.99. Do you think these will be reflective in the day or should I go for the yellow one? Cheers

The Night Vision jacket you're referring to is a Wind-Proof one and not the full Water-proof one.

The water proof one normally retails for £65 but someplaces like Tredz do it for £45.

My tip is to get two jacket. The Altura Night Vision Waterproof for the winter and the Montane Featherlight Velo for the summer.
