Hi all,

Me and a mate are off to Cornwall next week for a week of camping. Last year it rained and the tent was leaking, the water was seeping through. It is a large 4 man tent where a 6ft person can stand up inside. I was told i needed to treat it with a waterproof spray to keep the waterproofness?

Could anyone let me know what i need to get please

Thanks

Something like Granger's Fabsil will help, you can get aerosols or liquid, but if the tent doesn't have taped seams you might still find it leaks there. Make sure the fly sheet is kept off the inner (if applicable) and the you avoid having anything physically touching the fly\inner where possible...

Thanks for your advice. Its just on the top of the tent it leaks through, Only small amounts when its really pouring down, hopefully a coat of what you said might help
