The WD Ireland store is showing 2TB my book refurbished drive for €49.49

Change the ie in the url to gb and the price goes up to £64.99

Does anyone know if you order it from the ie website and use PayPal if they would deliver..

I have actually put it in my basket and processed it bar confirmation of order and it does let me..

So this may also lead to a "deal" in getting stuff from the EU WD store..

    Thoughts and comments appreciated..

I must plead ignorance but do Ireland use an EU plug or a UK plug ?

All orders are sent from the same place in Ireland. £20 extra on a £43 item not a rip-off.. You have to be joking.. That IS a total rip-off!

Then it makes a change from all the times places charge 13quid for postage to ireland for a memory card etc
    perhaps pricing error as well

Royal mail class Ireland as Europe so unfortunately the UK sender has to pay those charges. it's not like they are added on..

It doesn't seem to offer delivery to UK if you pay in euros.

and so as i said... maybe posting from ireland to ireland should get a break vs ireland to UK

anyway, dont really care - its a single product and i dont think relevant - or is it all?
you can see the rrps, the rrps stated show a bigger reduction so base prices aren't rip off britain

Ireland is Europe. It's a different country. Unfortunately a lot of the time these kind of charges apply to Norn as well and they shouldn't.

You can select paypal and it takes you to paypal login. once logged in, you get the price in euros shipped to your address..

Try it and see, if they aren't willing to deliver to the UK I'm sure they will email you and let you know

I know some users here ordered from Amazon FR etc so wondered if they knew how it worked.. I'm not ready to purchase today as actually could do with bigger than 2TB..

Says I need to spend 0,51 euros more to get free shipping, or pay 7,50 euros. so annoying as there's nothing that cheap on their website.

The 4TB at £71.99 on the GB site is quite a bargain I'd say. Shame it's not in stock.
