We're after a new one but cheers anyway. Our current box is OK, just very, very old and we are looking to treat ourselves to a new one.

Best I can find so far is a very expensive Pace receiver on Amazon.

i have one for sale - used for 2 weeks - like new with remote & box

Can i ask why you dont just phone upsky and ask for sky+. Tell them you dont want to pay like so many other people on here, myself included, for the upgrade and eventually you either get it free or for £45 in total. That way you get a better service, a brand new DVB3 box and the warrenty and not some second rate make!

Just a thought.....!

Since ThePasty posted I have checked through the Sky+ site and to my surprise it doesn't look like we would have to pay any extra subscription as we already pay for Sky Sports. :w00t:

£45 sounds like a great deal to me, so I might give it a go tomorrow.

The sky+ sub was sacked a while back now, every package where you pay sky some money qualifies for the sky+ features.

You basically have to phone up and say you want to cancel because you want virgin etc. They will offer you some del, the more you push the more you will get but dont go too far! I got it for free but a friend got offered £45 and still pushed, so they canceled him! Just be a good judge of what the person is like on the phone.

Oh and they havnt charged a monthly sub for sky+ since June 2007 i beleive!

let us know how you get on!
