    What can be done with a Sky Router

    I've just switched my broadband provider and have now got a spare Sky router.

    Is there anything that can be done with it? i.e. use it in some way? or even sell it? Will it be able to fetch some cash? if so, then how much?

    Have a look at;

    skyuser.co.uk/

    It depends on which make it is.

    They are locked to Sky through their firmware.

    However if you visit these guys ]http//dg…om/ they used to do custom firmware (providing its the Netgear router you have) and you should be able to use the router as a standard router.

    +1 .

    I reflashed the Sky/Netgear router after switching from Sky to O2 as the O2 router interface is pants.

    I binned mine along with a talktalk modem as i didnt want anyone else to suffer
