What could be wrong with my headlight?

The foglights work, but at normal beam (don't know what it's called) the headlamp won't work. Okay that sounds confusing, the left section of the headlamp is for fullbeam and the rightside for normal beam (argh). Fullbeam and signal lights work but the other won't. The signal lights and the fullbeam lights are apart of the headlight. So what could be wrong with it? I've changed the bulb, no change.

dipped beam doesn't work , changed bulb still no joy ? you don't say what vehicle it is, have you looked at the fuses, they may be fused for each side.

Renault Scenic 2005

Sounds like the bulb - but if you've tried changing that, maybe it's a connection just to that bulb.

time to scrap it

Are you sure you've changed the right bulb? Get a cheap 12v tester and see if there's power going to it. Fuses?

I reckon fuse as it will probably be a different one for main beam
