If related to the assumed-functional battery: UPS or Royal Mail (ParcelForce) are usually receptive. RMs / PF battery carriage expectations are easier to understand than UPS:

Can usually obtain UPS / RM services via parcel brokers, but some brokers may have restrictive practices compared to contracting the courier direct.

When I sent a phone in the past they said as long as the battery is inside the device its fine wondering if same applies here, I've emailed them the question as I'm in no rush to post it yet
