What do you get your Mum for her Wedding Day?????

My Mum is getting married to a fantastic man after being widowed 4 years ago. Trouble is, he spoils her rotten so I'm stuck for ideas on what to get them for a wedding present.
    Any suggestions???? Pleeeeeeaaase.

That's wrong on so many levels!!

How about you make a slideshow/video of the day? I was best man and did it while they were on honeymoon, during the day i got my assistant (my wife...) to record people giving messages for the couple when they returned, then edited that together with pictures and special songs.

Money can't buy things like that!

Trouble is he's bought her truck loads of jewellery. Only yesterday she showed me her new ring he bought her (and the bracelet, necklace and earrings) lol. They've booked their honeymoon suite, honeymoon etc... and they don't need a car for the day.

I like that idea, not sure about my david bailey efforts (how do you edit and add music??? lol) but it sounds like something I could work with.... Keep em coming guys...

Are you just wanting to get your Mum a present - or a joint one?
If just your Mum, you could take her for a spa day/weekend?
Take her for a makeover, have some piccys taken and a meal out?

I just used the Windows movie maker software, in hindsight i wouldn't have though, it's not the easiest in the world, but there's loads of (free) software out there that will do it, i'm sure Google will help

Insist on paying for the wedding dress.
    Or
Hire a beautician on the wedding day!

i bought software for about £25 and even i can make a halfway decent video with music and effects. otherwise a lovely picture frame and a picture of the happy couple on their big day is always great a big memory card and 500 photos one is surely useable.
most important though is that you support them and are happy for them (not always the case in second marriages)

I support them both fully and so do all the family. It was truly a devestating time for them both when they lost their spouses so for them to find happiness together, well, it's a fairytale ending isn't it. He is a fantastic man that put a smile back on her face and I couldn't ask for anything more.
I know it must be hard for some people to deal with but at the end of the day, they're both happy and enjoying life, I think they both know now that life is too short!

    A Bungee Jump ??

It depends how much you want to pend and how old they or what their (her) interests are but how about a life time membership to the national trust ?

Hon, if what you say is true about your Mums fiance then she has everything she could possibly need

Your love and best wishes for their continued happiness probably mean the world to them both.

Ask to make a speech at the wedding... describing how pleased you are she has found love again and with someone that makes her smile..

    how blessed that is x x x

Oooh, I bet that was lovely too. I have two boys and two girls. I love to have my hair and nails done with my daughters. Our hairdresser has been doing my hair since before the girls were even born, we love to go in and spend maybe three or four hours there just chatting and being silly.

I was ill this half term so my husband had to take the girls this time and he said... I can't believe how rude those girls get! He was embarrassed lol, bless, at all the saucy jokes and things. :-D

OP I just love how pleased you are for your Mum, this must be the best gift to her you could possibly give, that you are so happy for her x x x

Doing a scrapbook is a great idea if you have enough time before the wedding!

You can get nice wedding scrapbook albums and lots of sites to get ideas from.

It will be something she can keep for years!

Why not give them a weekend away greta deals at the moment
