Didn't you ask the optician to explain to you?

You should telephone the optician and ask him.

I did google it but nothing came up loads of stuff about blurred vision but that's not the problem as opticians said vision is excellent. nothing about blurriness behind the eyes that i could find on google as to what it could mean

visit your gp and discuss your concerns and ask for a referral to the ophthalmologist

Yeah, you need to follow this up. Blurriness 'behind the eyes' doesn't make sense. Blurriness behind the lens, or some other part of the eye does. I would call them, failing that book another eye test and mention it to them.

Not normal. Go and get a 2nd opinion. Theyshould have expexplained it to you.

The optician should always explain what he /she means., this happens where I work ( in an opticians!).Your son would have been referred to the eye clinic or the GP if there was any cause for concern. You would have been given a copy of any referral. You should ask to speak to the optician if it's worrying you.
