Always one
Already had a MC shake.

Just wondering what I can do to keep the levels up. Go through stages of energy and no energy, never been so weak.

Cocolate milk is always good.

Haribo is a must.

Depends if kidneys are compromised in any way at the moment. If so you will be on a more restricted diet anyway.

Sounds like you had a rough time glad to hear you are recovering though.

When I had my op's I found the best thing for getting my energy levels back were the humble Banana

I can't eat bananas don't know why.

I only love banana flavour in milkshakes etc..

Big ass bottle of Lucozade along with a boost - does the job

I keep chickens, I no longer eat it.

Are you now clear to eat anything?
If you have any ongoing issues with your kidneys you may need to restrict sodium (salt) and potassium (bananas, potatoes, tomatoes etc etc etc).

If you do not have any restrictions then soups are often a good thing to start with. Something like chicken noodle or chicken and sweetcorn.

Trying to intake more vitamin c.
The thing that happened to me is very rare, but its listed on the sheet if you move to surgery for kindey stones, so It can happen, the doctor I had, stated this was like the 3rd person he had suffer this problem in over 25 years of work. So wouldn't worry to much.

Bet that cheered you right up....!

I'd ask your doc next time you see him/her and not the idiots in here. you don't want to be doing anymore damage to your insides and end up with a pee bag cellotaped to your side because some fat lazy housewife told you something she over heard on this morning.

anyway sounds painful, get well soon and all that gubbons.

Eggs, nuts and cheesecake.

I agree. Little and often and light but nutritious.

So sorry to hear that it went wrong and hope that you feel much better soon.

Protein is the key but depends how much you can tolerate.

Consider smoothies with milk banannas, fruit, in fact anythong you want to put in it. Can be easier to digest than meat etc
