Oooooops!

Lets hope it wasn't Burgundy on white sheets.....
And hope it hasn't seeped through to the matress!

Vanish?

Mr Muscle?

I think like the post above says though... Oh dear!

How did it get on your bed sheets? Did you go to bed with wet hair? As tinks said was it permament? Always put it on a hot wash, stick in some vanish?

Actually that would be ok, then she could just bleach them! lol

Everything I can think of would bring out the colour of the bedding too, could you just re-dye the sheets?
You could try soaking the stain in milk but if it is really bad I don't think you will get it all out
hair dye is a ****** to get out..... hate the stuff, but its gotta be done! lol
nope, hair dyes a beetch, you wont get it out.
I did it a few hours ago and only realised now. It's permanent :-( and was mahogany dye on white sheets! I'm guessing i should soak it overnight and deal with it tomorrow?

You won't get it out as it's dye, so it would of dyed the fabric it won't … You won't get it out as it's dye, so it would of dyed the fabric it won't be a stain you can just remove. You could bleach them again or just chuck em and replace :-(

Oh yeah lol! Ok will try that. Thanks everyone! x

lol:thumbsup:
I have my hair dyed a (permanent) plum-purple colour - I do it at home. I frequently go to bed with my hair wet and get dye on the sheets/pillowcases. I've always found it washes out in a normal wash as, although it does look vibrant, it is heavily diluted. - I presumed that's why it washes out anyway.... Never ever found this to be a problem. I've never spilt the actual dye on anything though and presume this would be impossible to remove..
when we get tint on our clothes at work we spray hairspray on and wash as normal..
Try rubbing iin neat hair conditioner. My cousin is a har dresser and says if often(but not always) does the job! Good luck
I use red/mahogany hair dye all the time and go to bed with hair wet even on the night of dying it, I get it over my white and grey sheets all the time and it just come's out as normal in a wash with some softer, I've never had to bleach them before and my colour is really vibrant and noticeable on the white you should be fine x
What is it with 7 year old threads coming to life out of the blue? Can people not see how long ago these threads were posted? I'm guessing they googled something and landed here.
