Marriage has taught me how much i love my own company, that i prefer to make my own decisions for everything and how crap it is having to share a bed! Never again for me lol. Love having the bed to myself and love being my own boss!

    not to do it again

Not in marriage it isnt as far as I am concerned. Its supposed to be your best mate & soul partner. No room in there for deceit.

    What's the point?

Sorry Miles but I love being married! (But I am married to another woman, maybe us gays are on to something...)
The only downside is the double PMT, apart from that it's ace

Marriage is just a certificate needed by authorities to prove you love your spouse/partner

I had been happily in love and living together for over 15yrs but illness caused gestapo (I mean Social Services) to be involved long story short she said "The best way to cure this is to get f..... married" so we did but gestapo didn't like it.

Over 15 yrs - worked together for many years, lived together almost all that time, travelled the world together but it meant absolutely nothing to those with authority.

You don't need to get married but if you don't then get everything in a contract/solicitor otherwise if things go bad they go very bad

No point to iplayer? I couldn't agree more An interesting comparison, BBC to marriage.

I heard on the radio this song by Engelbert Humperdinck... Please release me, let me go, For I don't love you anymore To waste our lives ...
