What is better? 1.4ghz or 1.2ghz dual core

My pre3 just arrived and extremely fast compared to my old wildfire S. it is 1.4ghz, is this faster than the s2s dual core processor

Not many apps take full advantage of dual core yet so the dual core phones arnt used to their full potential
and does anyne know why webos was scrapped? I really like it.

Main benifit is less power useage for the same performance.

WebOS was not scrapped as such, its was just that HP pulled out of the tablet and smartphone market. WebOS is not going to be open source so will still see development. I think HP are still planning on using a version of it for thier printers that was the last thing i read anyway.
I see. It is quite good to be fair.
