What is so 3D about Toy Story 3D???

Was disappointed at lack of 3Diness in this movie. What does everyone who watched it think?

I agree there was more 3D in the adverts before the movie.

I believe they didn't want the movie to be overpowered by the 3D. It was done in a subtle way.

I agree though, it was disappointing considering you pay extra for 3D and it really didn't have any!

well the whole movie was in 3D just cause they didn't have tacky moments where things fly at you for every other second. They didn't write the script with "we could do this for the effect" in mind and thats good. If they did the movie would have been spoiled by 'crappy' 3d moments.

I agree - brilliant movie though. Was discussed here the other night

Yep i also agree, and mentioned this to someone who was going to see it in 3d on here the other day. Added nothing to the movie at all, the 3d was hardly used in a noticeable way which was rubbish, the problem is films are being made in 3d for the sake of it.

yeah something been wrong - when I post it doesnt show for a few minutes.

What i find annoying is the fact that the cinema charge more for a 3D movie. i know they had to buy digital projectors but £1.50 -£2.00 more per ticket. They are mugging us.

ohhhhh i want to watch that movie

Watched at the weekend and was very disappointed at the lack of 3D effects, felt totally ripped off paying the extra, nearly £33 for a family of 3.

Was it originally intended to be 3D or was it just done post-production like Clash of the Titans?

Glad I went to the 2D one after reading this!

Haven't bought into this 3D craze yet. I'll try and remain strong and think of the saved money

never understood why people pay extra for 3D. it shouldnt even cost any more to show, but people like yourselves will pay for it. its a gimmick anyway

this just happened to me. i thought it might have gone totally off topic and posts were deleted, but i had to refresh it a few times before it showed posts other than #1 & 2

Some people actually miss the point with 3D these days. Gone are the days when it was a gimmick, nowadays its used to add depth to a movie which, as I said, some people just dont get it.
The 3D adverts are still gimmicky and rightly so.

Pretty much was all in 3d.

Just because stuff didnt jump out of the screen doesn't mean it wasn't 3d.

3D just isnt impressive in general, that's the problem.

3D Toy Story sucked - there's nothing more to it really - Good film but i would watch it in 2D. Waste of money otherwise.

It was in 3D but it didn't have any moments where someone throws something at you I suppose, in a way I'm glad its the same everytime. Someone throws a dish and it flys towards you boring...
