Hey,
What is the best TV I can buy for £600 or less which is at least 49 inches and suitable for playing emulated games. Should I be looking for a 4k 10 bit hdr?
I would consider increasing my budget to £800 if necessary.
Thank you very much.

from my research Samsung seem to be best with their hdr input lag, most of them are 10 bit too. try the ku6470 on currys as it's 599

A Full HDR TV starts at around £800-1000 at that size, so you'd be looking at partial HDR at £600. HDR needs content support though, so you won't see it in action in older games.

The top spec (effectively) non-HDR TVs in that price range would be Sony XD70, Samsung KU6000, Philips 6501/6551/6561, and Panasonic DX600/650. LG would technically be the 620v I believe, but you'd probably want to look at the 635V and 770V too as they seem to use different panels.

4k 10bit hdr is more future proof, but if you don't plan on using any content to make use of it there is little point.

I'm in the same boat looking for a TV between £600-1k, the one I had my eye on has gone up £150 since black Friday and now sits out of budget.
