Our Kid is emptying our toy cupboards ,kitchen cupboards, fish tank stand cupboard and the rest, which type of lock would you all recommend?

teach the child it's wrong to do these things? most likely attention seeking ? other than that most locks are rubbish and you will get sick of taking them on and off. or ask them to do it as they usually figure it out in a week.

Hi try Ikea, there cheap and work also B&M. Ikea deliver also (I think), depending on you handles try biy some O-rings and put them over 2 cupboard handles close together. Hope it helps

Magnet style one which has a separate magnet key to open. We have several in our house, and key out of reach. Just stick on and comes with a key holder. Have a look on Amazon, got 3 for about £5.

Do these work better then the solid plastic lever type?

I think so imho, as you hold the magnet key on the outside of the door and it unlocks itself, so no gap for little hands to get through unlike the plastic ones leave a good sized gap. Also if the your child watches you with plastic ones they can easily work it out, with key it can be put out of arms reach.

Couldn't agree more but that would mean interacting with their own children and more accurately, telling them no!

As a foster carer for 0-5 year olds we chose these type of cupboard locks and they're the best ones. Got them off amazon.
We've tried the plastic ones in the past but they kept snapping off.

    Babydan magnetic drawer/cupboard lock. Fantastic!

we used the babydan multi lock, quite tricky for kids to open, though depends on age of your kid

been on for around 2 years now and still stuck on strong, don't really use them anymore tho except for the cupboard with bleech etc in

Magnet ones best tried all other kinds and my little one managed to get a way past all other safety locks lol.

    Agree with magnetic key lock....
