Slot machines, sea life centre, sand castles.

+1 and a little fair thing I think and boat trips/fishing trips

Realise how lucky you are that you don't live in Scarborough!:giggle:

The Castle was pretty good last time I was there - also recommended is a boat trip around Flamborough Head (used to be an information stall on the harbour just down from the North side), you've got Robin Hood's bay :

Nearby, picturesque (can be a bit steep BTW), there's also Pickering (v small Castle type hunting lodge doohickey) and Whitby (Abbey, Capt Cook connection + Museum and some the *best* fish and chips). Wish I was going ;-)

Can't seem to find that many places to stay with car parking mind.

paddle in the raw sewerage, i mean sea!!!

Find the road out.:)

beach if its nice weather
walk along the sea front
luna park-kids rides
arcades
bowling
cinema
sea life centres pretty good
go to peasholm park and watch the naval warfare. ]Heres their website
go on the minature train near sea life centre

ok im struggling now but ill have a think

Why do you say that Gavin...??

I worked there for 4 months at the Grand Hotel, and visit there often. It is one of the most relaxing places I know!
