Hi all. Any ideas what this could be on my left arm? It's very rough where the darkish rash is, and very smooth where it isn't! This has only shown up over the last 6 months or so! I know there is not much to go on, but I'm curious! Thank you.3902010-vIS5G.jpg3902010-TwEIQ.jpg

Pop and see your local pharmacist. They can look at the rash and understand your symptoms and prescribe a cream or help sort a referral to the gp if required

Why bother with a medical professional when you can post a picture on the internet and ask random people...

I think I've seen this before, have you been in relative close contact with any wild animals in the last year by any chance? Say about 20 metres or less?

It is one of those rashes where you should have seen a doctor 6 months ago.

By the way, it looks like an allergy rash to me. If it is an allergy then you need to think about if you have changed any toiletries within that time or bought a new jumper of long sleeve top made out of a material you haven't worn before of for a long time.

Have you made a will? (edited)

Have you tried some basic skin cream from the chemist? Can normally get a tube for about £2-3
I suffer from Urticaria due to my allergies and take antihistamines

Skin cream for an kind of skin problem, no harm in trying. Like I say 2-3, it's not urticaria, I'm just saying to try the cream and hopefully it helps

As above replies, get yourself to the pharmacy/doctors for professional advice.

Terrible picture. Could be anything. But probably pityriasis versicolor. Go see the doctor!

Definitely looks like it could be animal related, exotic animal even, best maybe see a doctor or if you can ask a vet for advice.
