Well thank you very much so useful, but i was wondering if it could take

DDR 3200
DDR 2700
DDR 2100

But also would it take DDR2?

Seeing as your so cocky do you have the answer to that?

If you go to www.crucial.co.uk (Crucial is one of the world's larger memory manufacturers) you can scan your PC with their tool and it will advise you what you need for your machine.

I tried that, but it comes up with saying it cant be found. Its because it was sold by dixon and that, its a clone of some American laptop.

Ah. I didn't know that would be a problem. So I suppose you need to find out what it was cloned from.

You never asked what type it was, you asked what ram was in it, which is what I gave you.

Install PC Wizard. It will be able to tell you what type of RAM you have.
