I'm going to Japan this Sunday,

Are there any cool things there which you can't easily import I should get?

I'm thinking mainly unique gaming stuff. Any ideas?

Cameras are cheaper there, I heard. If I were you, I'd buy a nice cam.

It's a good idea but I'm all set for cameras. I'll probably just wonder round some electronics stores and get some inspiration.

Off topic but I'm planning on going myself in future, any recommendations on where to visit, best flight operators etc?

+1 for Toys, if you're in Shibuya then check out MediconToys store "1/6" for some bad ass exclusives.
Oh and don't forget that Japanese Xbox one games will work in Europe, so you could get some Asia exclusives which sell well on ebay or for just for your own pleasure

thanks for the suggestions, keep them coming if you think of anything else. Do ps4 games work on uk console? I know 3ds games don't work which is annoying, would be cool to pick up a limited edition 3ds or something like that.

As for advice on where to go I'll post back once I figure that out myself lol, not booked anything other than flights and the jr rail (which lets you travel around japan for 2 weeks for £250 which is a huge saving)

Oh I didn't know that about the cash, I always just take my nationwide cards for free exchange but if they don't have cash machines then I might be in trouble. What about shops and bars do they accept visa? For data I've ordered a wifi dongle £49 for 2 weeks unlimited data, should be good for me and friend and I can use that for calls and texts as well.
