What to eat to Xmas Eve?!

I know this sound rather random but......I have got my MIL over for Xmas this year and I haven't got a clue what to cook for tea on Xmas Eve.
We usually have somehting like Chilli and Jacket Pots or Curry and rice but she doesn't like anything spicy, lamb or fish!! :-(
We are having the usual Xmas roast dinner on Xmas day, and a kind of buffet on Xmas Day night, but not a clue about Xmas Eve.....
Any help would be much appreciated!!
    Thanks xxx

eat before she comes lol :-D

we ALWAYS have gammon joint with cauliflower cheese, mashed tates etc. This year i might have it cold though. Although tbh the way i feel i won't want to cook anything and we'll be going to the chippy......

Always have a kentucky christmas eve, got four kids so I see it as mums night off b4 the big day:)

Oh and a bottle of Baileys after the kids go to bed:giggle:

Blue cheese and wild mushroom risotto served with sliced baguette. Just in case she's vegetarian. :-)

I'd stick with the jacket spuds - you can have chilli and she can have cheese or beans or something. Or maybe soup and rolls. I make Celery and stilton or winter vegetable. Ever so easy and very tasty. (My mum doesn't like celery or stilton so I told her it was cheese soup and she tasted it and liked it. I told her after what was in it!)
