    Whats a resonable price to pay for a laptop with blu-ray writer?

    As the title states but more specifically:

    * Intel® Core(TM)2 Duo 2.10 GHz
    * 320 GB Serial ATA (5400 rpm)
    * 4 GB 800MHz DDR2 SDRAM
    * Blu-ray Disc(TM) drive
    * Vista® Home Premium - (32 bit)
    * ATI MobilityRadeonHD4650 512MB
    * 16.4" LCD, 1600 x 900 webcam

    Thanks guys

    P.S. i'm not looking to sell this, I need to buy it first.

    ahhh you know what, i never thought of purchasing an external one.

    just trying to fit as much in as i can, as i'm only gonna buy one laptop every 5-6 years.

    External is prolly best choice - internal ones are a ripoff at the moment.
    You will be lucky to find a laptop with bluray writer for much under a grand at the moment whereas a USB bluray burner can be added to any laptop for under £200: ebuyer.com/pro…266

    That's a very specific spec for a laptop - how flexible are you on particular omponents? Does it have to be exactly 16.4" screen? That particular graphics card?

    very flexible on spec, just wondering how much you would value a laptop with that spec, i know the price of that but wanted to know how much others think it would be worth.
    its actually £908, didn't know if that was too high or not.

    £908 doesn't sound too far off to me.
    I picked up one of these for £650: simplyacer.com/Ace…tml
    That's a bigger screen, different graphics and slightly slower processor - but not too far off the spec.
    Add in a £200 external DVD writer and you aren't far off the £900 you are talking about.
