    What's Best Pillow

    My Pillows are Cr*P
When buying new ones they feel great for around 2 weeks then they die !!
Need something decent can anyone recommend one they have used and got a decent life out of them?

Buy feather ones, they need fluffing every night but are great once you've fluffed it up and they don't sag like hollow fibre ones. When they do sag that means they are filled with dust mite **** apparently

I use a Hypnos pocket sprung pillow. It is absolutely brilliant. Not cheap though...about £35 but i understand that the Silentnight pocket sprung is just as good. I replace mine every year but it will last longer. No having to puff them up is great!

This has lastest me two months so far, very nice, memory foam core. Out of stock at the debenhams website tho.

Oh i so know what you mean. I am so fussy about my pillow and it is such apersonal choice. I bought THE PERFECT PILLOW (thats its name) off debenhams. It was perfect too but has died after a couple of months. Now i can't sleep.
Have you tried memory foam?. They do last well. I just dont like a firm one. (pillow)

If they go floppy and pathetic after a month or two it's because they've filled up with, how shall I put it...., scum. Dust, dead skin, hair, and dirt, all creeps in through the covers and fills up the cushionny part. I've found that using a good quality (read expensive) pillow protector, underneath the actual pillow case extends the 'good as new' stage for some considerable time. Perhaps try bashing the pants off it outside and then covering it with two or more pillow cases will be just as good?

does anyone else here like a "cold" pillow? i find that after laying on mine for a while if i can't sleep ( quite often ) i turn the pillow over and love the cold feeling...

as a few others have said try a memory foam, I used to use two of the other types of pillows but like you I found they soon went flat, invested in 2 memory foam ones £50 each and have been using them for 2 years they are great I get a much better sleep
