been asked a million times.. use the search function you will get loads of results.

Also, depends on what you would mostly use it for, eg online gaming, media player or whatever.

Neither are 'real' game systems, both are below average outdated crap, if … Neither are 'real' game systems, both are below average outdated crap, if you really wanted something sub par then the PS3 edges it due to Blu-Ray and free online play, but neither are particularly good.

maybe you should suggest some real games systems then before the op wastes his money

Gamecube--best console ever made .amiga cd32 close second

ps3 > pc > xbox360

you have a real bee in your bonnet coming into every ps3 / xbox thread spouting this tosh.

give us a rest ,its childish and very boring pal

as you live with your parents still, maybe they might get you one for xmas if you ask nice enough (or get a paper round?)

normally I'd say whatever your friends have, but as you're not going to use it online have a look at the exclusives and see which you prefer.

personally, I think the PS3 has much more going for it at the moment.

if you are looking for some really one-sided comments, wait for the darknight to arrive...

Don't read a great deal of threads on this forum, but when I do and I see a stupid response I tend to glance at the name of the poster.

No guesses for the name I tend to see most....

As to the original question, no console is 'better'.
Best to read up on each, look at the games available and then make a choice.

Lost Symphonies

N64.

I loved the N64 but the SNES was just brilliant.

Both are good, but i have found recently that the exclusives on the 360 have been drying up a little bit, so i have been playing my PS3 more.

Have both. Would suggest that the 360 has lots of older, very cheap, very good exclusives to play through such as gears of war, fable 2, forza 3 etc. All these can be picked up sub a tenner. Then again the ps3 has uncharted which I'd probably my fave gaming series of this generation. Swings and round abouts
