What's GAME Refund Like?

Banned 10
Found 16th Jan 2014
I just purchased the OUYA three days ago. Day 1 it was a bit weird, wouldn't connect to wi-fi, show errors during update and restart. Eventually it worked. Now on the second day it went dead. I download Sonic from the market place which installed. I ran the game and after 2 minutes everything froze. Turned the console off and back on and now it won't start.

Would GAME offer a refund ?
Had enough with the OUYA!

In my experience, no. Game is totally unreasonable for refunds. I ordered an Assassins Creed box set online for xmas, didn't give it away so it stayed in the delivery box, untouched, then I took it into store for a refund, the (rude!) staff got me to take it out of the box then argued the seals were damaged when I hadn't even touched the item, I had to ask for the manager and argue its their warehouse sending out things which aren't perfect, eventually they refunded me, but I suspect only as there were a nice que of people behind me.

However if the unit is dead, absolutely they must at least replace it or offer credit. Good luck, do let us know!

Ordered it from the Store

It's faulty so they should. Your statutory rights mean that you should either be given a full refund for your faulty item or they should offer to fix/replace it. Just have a chat with Trading Standards if you have any problems.

I've opened a chargeback case with credit card company. So now all I have to do is print of and send evidence of fault along.

So what I am sending a huge written description of fault and then im going to upload the videos and give them the link to watch if needed of proof of fault. A link to GAME website about refund/replacement and copy of my receipt and product is only like 3 days since purchase.

Hopefully will get a refund and if they want their console back they can come pick it up themselves!
