whats that big start menu on VISTA called?

the one which comes on when you first boot up a new system with vista and it keeps popping up every time you log on to vista? It has a load of quick start system icons etc on it.
I switched it off and can't remember how to restart the dang thing.

The sidebar and the Welcome Centre are not the same thing.

The Sidebar is the bar on the right which has various gadgets on it, clock etc.

The welcome centre is the large window that comes up in the centre of the screen with loads of icons to help get you started quickly.
