what's the best way of finding something i've lost?

Right, this is now seriously annoying me. I know i've got a Wii game i've never played in my flat somewhere, but search upon search hasn't located it. Other than strip every room out, how am I going to find it? The last time I lost something for more than a few days it was my car keys and they were in a six-pack of Frazzles, so mad ideas on where the heck it might be may be the key here...

aha...I got ya know:)

Thats kind of big item to get lost.
Perhaps it's slipped down side of somewhere being thin case.
If you got laminated flooring or similar, could slid under a sofa or cabinet or something.

make a list of places to search...
ignore all the list and go immediately to the last one on the list.....

2 ways first is to retrace your steps second is to not look for it because it usually turns up if you dont make a effort to look for things

well, I got it at xmas and it's not turned up since then...

So, whilst watching Corrie I searched the kitchen- literally emptied all of the cupboards- and found a Fray Bentos pie, best before 2006 (which bearing in mind i'm the first person to live in my flat andd have only been here a year is kind of odd) and a big pack of PG tips teabags (and i've never even tried a cup of tea in my life, and have never owned a kettle because I don't drink coffee either) but still no game...

i just read your op again i would strongly recommend you to tidy your flat

Looked in your DVD player. and your CD player?.

What about the wine chiller?

Hopefully you didn't chuck it away with all the wrapping paper, etc ....

Hiya Billy - where you been these last couple of months?? Welcome back.

I bought my daughter a pair of Kickers boots but didn't end up putting them on her. Remembered them again one day so put them aside to stick on eBay (brand new in the box) and that was the last I saw of them! That was about 2/3 months ago and they are of course bigger than a game box (and my house is not messy!) but just can't for the life of me remember where I put them, nor can I find them!

Edit: maybe they ran away together?

Hey shibi- got a new girlfriend is the short answer there ;-) between that and teaching... thank god for half term week is all I can say- finally time to sort everything out ready for my move!

Now, done the main bedroom- nothing in my shoeboxes (no kickers MrsZ) but I did find a magnetic dartboard and a box of film stuff including Indiana Jones poster magazines, a few Gremlins souvenir magazines, a Superman the Movie book, and Blade Runner and ET stuff, all nabbed when I cleared out a cinema back in the early 90s. I'm not much of a hoarder so I didn't know I still had these!

... still no game. BTW I no longer have a Wii, i'm just on a mission to find this game as I know it's here somewhere...

It's rattling round in sassie's boiler
