What is the best price that you have been able to come up with????

thanks - so far all i've come up with is the 5% quidco for currys. The 5% discount code doesn't work, as it only applies to home delivery - which this TV isn't eligible for (or at least not in my area)

Sorry man that 5% code only works for home delivery and that tv isnt available for del

you sure you want that tv -even though its 1080p it hasnt got a great contrast ratio for the price

Id recommend either a samsung or panasonice like this one

Its not 1080p but unless your getting a 40inch tele you wont notice the difference at all

Tbh anything under 7000:1 ---- 10,000:1 isnt going to output very good picture quality for 1080p - if your paying £700 for a hd-tv you should be getting the best specs for that price

E.g the black wont be black adn the white wont be white it will a mess at 1200:1 and even if you have a 1080p television the image will be worse than a 1080i tv with 10k:1 ratio

Id recommend a samsung - although sharp are alright i wouldnt buy a tv off them

See your wanting a 1080p tv and its something thats expensiv atm - plus your wanting 37inch tele

So thats going to set you back around £850 for a decent set
Wheras you could get one for £500 thats a decent brand and good specs but not 1080p

What are you going to be using it for e.g high def films - sky hd - hd gaming ?

Budget to spend on the tv - min and max

£750 max really

better specs undoubtedly - i'm just not a fan of the glossy finish on samsungs

The Sharp is £629 from Empire Direct - if you can get the code to work and if you can pick it up. Or its £654 delivered with the code - don't forget Quidco 2%....

lcd-tv-prices.co.uk/com…tml

Limited stock - so I'd order soon.

It can be a bit tricky getting the code to work though.....
