I'm on a £15 tariff and hit £60 1 month. Not that extreme but is to me lol.

Never gone over my allowance on my personal mobile but my work one usually has a bill in the hundreds. Never reached the £1000 mark though I have been close a couple of times.

£275.. euro 2004, drunken phonecalls!

back in 1994 over £1100, first bill I ever had on one of my first mobile phones which was an analogue Nokia 100 on a BT mobile per minute tariff. Blooming thing was used non stop like a walkie talkie

Handsome isn't it? At the time we thought having 20 phone number memory was great.

£151 last month, but I was calling from abroad quite a bit

£672.. my fiancée was in USA and was making international calls and msgs with out using any phone cards + was using data connection on my Nokia 6230i in 2006 at that time there weren't any free internet or any data plan was there.
I remember Tmobile used to charge me £3 per MB.

Never. Funnily enough when I got my contract I did some reasearch and picked a plan that was suitable for me...

I wish we could all be as wise as you.

£800 calling the UK from Kuwait in the late 90's. Having issues with my then wife.

i've moved up to £45 a month, i've literally get everything, still getting 3GB of data, Unlimited messages and Landline calls, 2,000 cross network minutes. Most months i'll use half, occasionally i'll hit 1500 on minutes, but it's so costly to be over any tariff.

Totally different subject, but back in the nineties when there were no internet packages and you had to pay for the internet as you used it i used to rack up 500 quid bills every month.

I also remember my then boyfriend having a brick (moby) like that, with an aerial lol

yeah £500 ish back in the day, big contrast to £10 a month now

was £400 when I was young and naive! Now I am on a £20 a month contract with tesco, get 750 mins, 1GB Wap and 1000 text messages. Just get charged for 0845 numbers and MMS.

Its a fab deal, only prob is the OH mum thought it was great too and went out and got the same deal and phone!

Not cool having the same phone as a 70yr old woman!

£300/month+ on my work phone for the last 18 months, can't remember my highest personal phone bill but it was high Whoops.

Did a £240 one in the late 90's early 2000...

won't ask what you were downloading (_;)

How's you?

£147 last October sticks in my mind. No international calls or premium rate lines, just went over my 600 minute allowance a little too early into the month, and didn't realise how much I'd gone beyond my limit until the bill txt came through.

That must have been difficult...you had a chance to write "tree fiddy" and passed! - Impressed.

£50 on my mobile... but years ago (dial up days) I had my own phone line in my bedroom just for internet... I formatted my computer and entered the dialling number wrong... mum got a £400 phone bill, just from internet usage.

did a couple of months in Canada in '02. when i got home the bill for the phone i'd "rented" from vodafone came - £850 boo lol

Most i've gone over is about £40...

On a GiffGaff £10pm plan at the moment and that's fine for me.

Probably thousands, flatmate had one of the faulty BT Cellnet handsets which topped up £10 every time it was turned off and on again. we were on it constantly for months, even ringing those premium rate prize lines, best thing we managed to win was a Dreamcast
