Funny as hell :w00t:

Are you able to show us a screenshot of your problem?

Press the PrtScn (Print Screen) button when you have the problem on screen.

Then open something like paint, click Edit > Paste and it should paste a picture of your screen. Save it and then upload it somwhere like www.tinypic.com and send us the link

could it be a graphics problem ??? try rebooting the laptop and see if it re-appears

It's computer AIDS. Did your computer have the wrong kind of sex with another computer?

Does it stay the same if you change the look of your mouse pointer?
Perhaps you could try reinstalling your Graphic card drivers.

Several things could be wrong with it. What's the make and model?

I'm using XP , I will check a few things and those dots are also on the desktop symbols.

Update to the newest graphics card drivers for your system.

You could also try turning hardware acceleration down a notch.

Ok....You could try updating the driver

Go to

1. Control Panel

2. Device Manager

3. Mice and pointing devices

4. Double click touch pad

5. Click the driver Tab, Update driver, Search Automatically. Follow Instructions

If that doesnt work, you can always Roll back driver IE go back to original settings.
