What's your heatwave hydration?

Seeing it's a couple of hours after opening time I was just wondering what beverages people are sinking to keep the fluids topped up whilst we continue to bask in these Mediterranean temperatures?

Anything alcoholic dehydrates you even more. Same with caffeine beverages.

Water is the best to combat dehydration. Been drinking more water lately instead of Pepsi Max.

I'd like to think you could do much worse than autumnal Bavarian beer during a hot British summer

I'm sure there's some law somewhere stating that it's breaching your human rights

Well don't worry about 40C because in my brave new world anything over 25C is absolutely perfect for moving on to M&S's mint & cucumber gin with matching cucumber tonic and suitable garnish
Lemon slice + water + sugar + ice.
Lime is even better, but damn thing isn't as juicy as it's yellow sibling.
Magners with ice is so refreshing during the summer

I been the stereotypical alc hitting the more potent cider in recent times, the 7.4% Thatchers Katy is a lovely drop of West Country culture Yosh

A glass of this with ice also helps cool the body.
😞😞😞 i am working, so water for all

Hot or cold weather I still insist on drinking a hot cuppa

Water is good for when at work but far too sensible when not there's plenty of time for water after overdoing it on the alcohol.

Yeah I have heard of this drink and I believe you can get it from numerous shops specialising in foreign produce, I will be tempted to try it when I come across it.

Been buying j2o spritz (Apple and Watermelon) it's as refreshing as you can get when ice cold, only £1 a bottle in ASDA at the moment!

Not bad but frankly Westons make the best of the 'mass produced' stuff imo.

Forgot about watermelon. Cold watermelon chunks cool your belly and body. Amazing stuff.

I wouldn't agree or disagree because I'm not a dedicated cider drinker, I am quite fond of the Orchard Pig offerings and grab a few whenever they're on offer but generally I am far more of a beer monster I must confess.

I should be bothered to make my own, but M & S still spring water with a hint of lemon & ginger is my non alcoholic drink of choice.

Saturday's performance with alcoholic drinks of choice was beer, Guinness, Bloody Mary and vodka red bull. A great combo to ensure I couldn't care less about my hydration status.

No mate. no idea what you're on about. Link?
Orange squash is as fancy as I get these days with a baby imminent any day haha
Hot drinks are meant to be good in hot weather but I prefer cold as seems to lower my temperature. No booze as dehydrates.
green tea and lemon, ginger and lemon with a little honey to sweeten or just a tall fresh lemon/lime lemonade with a little sugar. oh and plain old water works a treat too.
